He is the first Seminary-trained, full-time Evangelist on a national scale coming out of the black Baptist Church.

He is the author of a new book, The Quotable Manuel Scott Sr: Words From A Gospel Genius. His book is a collection of nearly 500 quotes and sermons spoken or written by his late father, Dr. Manuel Scott Sr.

Evangelist Scott was Senior Class President (1967) Dorsey High, Los Angeles, and Freshman Class President, Bishop College (1968).

He is a graduate of UCLA (BA 1971), received his Masters of Divinity Degree (1975) from Princeton Theological Seminary (Princeton, New Jersey), and was accepted into the PhD program at Claremont School of Theology (Claremont, CA).

He has written more than 60 printed lectures including such titles as "I'm Too Blessed To Be Stressed", "What The Bible Says About Worship and Praise", "What A Difference a Daddy Makes", "How To Inspire And Organize Youth In The Urban Church ", and "Church Evangelism According To Christ," to name a few.

It is said that he now, under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, conducts more revivals, workshops, and seminars, than perhaps any African-American Baptist in America.
